Free wedding invitations you send by text or email, with the RSVPs, guest list, seating and thank-you notes in one place. When guests reply, they can also give toward the wedding if they want to. It is a tool for the invitation and everything that comes back from it, not a ticket.

No. There is nothing to buy to attend or to RSVP. The name comes from the invitation itself: one link that is the guest's invitation, their RSVP and, only if they choose, their gift.

All of it. Invitations, RSVPs, the guest list, seating, thank-you notes and the option for guests to give. No card on file and no paid tier for couples.

Yes. Every invitation has a no-gift choice, and the RSVP is complete either way. Nobody is asked to give to attend.

Yes, any amount. A couple can show a suggested amount as a reference or hide it altogether. Guests can give more, less or nothing.

Nothing to RSVP. When a guest chooses to give, two fees are added on top of the gift at checkout: a platform fee of 3% with a $3 minimum, and a card-processing fee of 2.9% plus 30 cents. Both are shown before the guest confirms, and the couple receives the full gift amount. Couples never pay a fee.

Only the couple. Gifts appear privately in the couple's dashboard with the guest's name, so thank-you notes are easy. Other guests never see who gave or how much, and gifts cannot be made anonymously.

Gifts go into the couple's own Stripe account and from there to their bank. The first gift a wedding receives waits seven days as a safety check; after that, Stripe pays out on its normal schedule, two business days in the US. Payouts start once the couple has completed Stripe's identity check.

Gifts are voluntary and generally final. A guest can ask for a refund within 14 days for a duplicate charge, a processing error or confirmed fraud by emailing support@theweddingticket.com with the transaction details. If a wedding is cancelled or materially changed, refunds may be made as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. All refunds are made by Stripe to the original payment method; The Wedding Ticket never holds the money.

We start from the invitation. Invitations, RSVPs, the guest list and giving live in one simple tool, instead of a registry or a full wedding website. No ads on our site or invitations, and we do not sell your data.

Yes. Many couples use it in place of a registry; others offer both. It is your call and your guests'.

Those move money. The Wedding Ticket sends the invitation, collects the RSVPs and the meal choices, keeps the guest list and the seating, and records each gift against the guest who gave it, so you know exactly who to thank.

It is yours. Use it for the honeymoon, a home, savings or whatever you two decide.

Yes. You choose whether to show a suggested amount and what it is, and you personalise the invitation with your details and your story.

Yes. The invitation stays live after the day, and a late gift works exactly like an early one.

Personal wedding gifts are generally not taxable income under IRS rules; ask your tax adviser. Gifts through The Wedding Ticket are voluntary gifts, not payments for anything. We provide transaction summaries, not tax advice.

Some couples show one as a reference. It is only that. Guests can give more, less or nothing, and the RSVP is complete either way.

Yes. It takes the place of a traditional gift, like choosing something from a registry. Nobody expects a second gift on top.

No. You are always welcome to bring something as well, but it is not expected.

Not yet. Payments run through Stripe by card, which is fast and secure.

They can RSVP without giving, or give a card or cheque directly to the couple. Many couples still welcome cards at the reception.

Every gift is processed by Stripe and deposited into the couple's own Stripe account. The Wedding Ticket never holds the money; our only income is the platform fee shown at checkout.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and comply with data protection laws. Card details are handled and stored by Stripe; we never see your full card number. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
