HOST TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: November 11, 2025
1. Overview
These Host Terms govern your use of The Wedding Ticket, a service operated by 67 Percent Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us”), to create event pages and receive monetary contributions from invited guests. By creating a host account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Payment Processing and Non‑Custodial Model
Card acceptance, settlement, reserves, and payouts are provided by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). You must agree to Stripe’s applicable terms. Contributions are processed and held by Stripe and paid out to you according to a payout schedule we configure with Stripe. The Company does not take possession of funds and does not act as a bank, money transmitter, or escrow agent. Standard payouts are delayed until 7 days after the scheduled event date. We may permit an early deposit payout up to 30% of receivables for vendor deposits (subject to risk review). All payouts remain subject to Stripe’s risk checks, reserves, disputes, chargebacks, and compliance validations.
3. Eligibility and Verification
Hosts must be at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and provide accurate identity, tax, and payout information. Stripe may verify your identity and request additional documents. We and Stripe may decline, suspend, or terminate access for risk or compliance reasons.
4. Creating Events and Setting Contributions
You set a per‑guest contribution amount and may allow optional add‑ons. You represent that contributions offset event costs and are not charitable donations. You will not misrepresent your event or the intended use of funds.
5. Fees
We charge a platform fee per successful contribution as disclosed in your dashboard or at checkout. Stripe charges separate processing fees. Our fee is deducted contemporaneously with processing or at payout.
6. Payouts, Holds, and Reserves
Standard payouts are delayed until 7 days after the scheduled event date. We may permit an early deposit payout up to 30% of receivables for vendor deposits (subject to risk review). We may instruct Stripe to place reserves, hold payouts, or reverse transactions if fraud, disputes, or policy violations are suspected.
7. Refunds, Cancellations, and Postponements
You must follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If an event is canceled or materially changed, you authorize us to instruct Stripe to issue refunds in accordance with that Policy and card‑network rules. If you do not take required action, we may act to protect contributors.
8. Disputes and Chargebacks
Card disputes are administered by Stripe and the card networks. You agree to cooperate with evidence requests. You are financially responsible for chargebacks and related fees attributable to your event.
9. Acceptable Use and Legal Compliance
You will comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws. Prohibited uses include illegal activity, regulated fundraising or gaming, misleading claims, and activity involving sanctioned persons or jurisdictions. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
10. Taxes
Contributions are not charitable donations. You are responsible for tax reporting and liabilities that may apply to you. We do not provide tax advice. We may provide transaction summaries for your convenience.
11. Content and License
You grant us a limited, non‑exclusive license to host and display content you upload for your event. You represent you have all necessary rights to that content.
12. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver
You and the Company agree to resolve any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service through binding individual arbitration rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act and Indiana law govern the interpretation and enforcement of this provision. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial or Consumer Rules as applicable. The seat of arbitration will be Marion County, Indiana. Either party may bring a claim in small claims court instead of arbitration if the claim qualifies. You and the Company each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. You may opt out within 30 days of accepting these Terms by sending written notice to 67 Percent Inc., 435 Westchester Circle, Valparaiso, IN 46385.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for risk, legal, or policy reasons. Termination does not relieve you of obligations to address refunds, disputes, or fees.
14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit our total liability to the greater of platform fees you paid to us in the 3 months before the claim or 100 U.S. dollars.
15. Governing Law and Venue
Indiana law governs these Terms without regard to conflict rules. For matters not subject to arbitration, the parties' consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.
